I accidently bought Train Simulator 2021 last night when I was actually looking to purchase Train Sim World 2020. While googling it, I came across Train Sim World 2. Which would be the better of the two for a new train simmer? Also, which has the most content both available immediately and via free add-ons?
It's not on Steam. You should be able to get TRS2009 for free, for PC from the developers here: http://ts2009.trainzportal.com/free/ (I already own it, so can't claim it again)
It's the classic Microsoft Train Simulator (MSTS) from 2001 but better and free and open source. The old MSTS has sooo much fanmade content! And the best part: Almost all of it is free!
