Using a heat press on iron-on patches ensures consistent temperature and pressure, crucial for achieving a strong, long-lasting adhesion. Generally speaking, a temperature of around 350┬ F is best for embroidered patches, while around 300┬ F is better for vinyl.

We recommend securing a patch to a material that can easily withstand the heat from an iron, such as cotton, canvas, or polyester. Never attach a patch to velvet, suede, or leather , as you could damage the material.
