17 Μαρ 2016 · Hey everybody, i wanted to post a thread regarding an issue with the Trx 3.3 racing engine. Racing engine? Anyway, it is a lovely engine as far as rtr's are concerned. It does a great job putting the power down in these RTR Revo's and T-maxx's, rustlers and jatos.
6 Μαρ 2019 · Okay, I was given a Traxxas Revo with many upgrades to the suspension, however no motor. So I've been reading up on a few engines: Dynamite "Big Red Monster 28 Mach 2, Xiangtat Original RC 1/8 Blue Black SH-28 4.57cc, and Traxxas 3.3 TRX Engine, IPS shaft with Pull Start.

Everywhere I look on forums, people say to avoid the Traxxas nitros (TRX 2.5 and 3.3). Are some nitro engines really substantially more reliable and easier to tune?
8 Απρ 2020 · After doing a little bit of research it seems that the 3.3 engines had major issues, some blowing up immediately after brake in. Allmost everything I could find on the subject was dated way back from 2005 to 2015.
4 Φεβ 2023 · Today I finally got a run in. Sadly it’s hard to buy a gallon of nitro fuel now days and I only had about a tank left after I got it tuned. The exhaust mount screw in did itself and I blew off the exhaust which ended my day as I needed to go to work.
28 Οκτ 2019 · I will probably use it for 10 minutes every day for the first month and maybe use it for 40 minutes per week after a month. I am into mechanical stuff and work on my own cars. I appeal to the mechanism of a Nitro engine over a simple electric engine.
