- About TrialNet
TrialNet is testing rituximab-pvvr and abatacept in people (ages 8-45) who were newly diagnosed with type 1 diabetes (T1D) to learn if using both treatments, one after the other, maintains the body’s ability to make insulin.
Type 1 Diabetes TrialNet is an NIH-sponsored clinical trials network of researchers dedicated to the study, prevention, and early treatment of type 1 diabetes. Currently, there are 18 Clinical Centers in the US, including at the University of Florida, and over 200 affiliate sites.
