Was taking a look at my DD-214 and noticed I had an RE 3. From what I've gathered on the internets this is something you get if you received something other than an honorable discharge, however I received an honorable discharge for "completion of required active service".

Individuals with an RE Code of "3" can normally reenlist in the Army or another Service, but will probably require a waiver to be processed.
