3 Οκτ 2014 · DR Field and Brush mower won't reverse. I have a 15 hp Kawasaki DR Field Mower about 02 or 03 model, went to fire it up to get some work done this weekend and the thing wont move in reverse. It will shift into reverse but no movement. All 4 speeds work going forward.
4 Αυγ 2020 · I found the culprit, but not sure how to fix it. When you select forward or reverse, the gear selector lever rotates and forces a push rod forward or backward. This push rod connects to the cylinder in the transmission that engages the gear to either forward or reverse.
3 Αυγ 2010 · I adopted a Troy-Bilt 609G lawn tractor with a Kohler Command16 engine which I've managed to start. Now I see that I apparantly have a problem with the transmission; pulleys or something. On second thought; if I can master cutting the grass exclusively “in reverse”, I’m ready to roll.
19 Απρ 2022 · If a Troy-Bilt riding mower stalls when put in reverse, it is likely the reverse mowing capabilities are off. Turn the knob to reverse and then press the triangle button to turn on this option.
My boss has a Troy built riding mower that will not go into reverse normally if the blades are running and you put it in reverse it will shut off….
26 Απρ 2009 · It's a very very common problem with the MTD mowers that have a Forward/Neutral/Reverse type transaxel, and more so on the Troy bilt models that offer foot control of the speed. 4 years isnt bad though, Ive seen em bust after 2, and some after just 1 year.
