7 Ιαν 2012 · So, Im trying to get my sliding back window to latch. Mainly, so I can slide it open with one hand instead of climbing into the back seat. So, when I got my truck, it was just a piece of glass, no latch.
16 Σεπ 2011 · 1999 - 2003 7.3L Power Stroke Diesel - Sliding rear window latch - I went to the ford dealer to get a new latch for my rear window and they said I had to replace the whole slider piece. They wanted $240 for the glass piece and latch!
14 Φεβ 2020 · I have a 2018 Frontier. The rear sliding window latch popped off the glass while I was attempting to open it today (it is bitter cold here). In order to put it back in place: 1. Do I need to first dissolve whatever adhesive was holding it in place and is still on the window? If so, what kind of solvent would you recommend? 2.
31 Οκτ 2013 · i know this has has probably been covered a hundred times but my oem sliding rear window latch is missing. it was like this when i bought the truck. my question is, can you get the latch and some adhesive or is their a "base" that is glued on that the latch fastens onto?
5 Ιουν 2024 · The portion of the latch on the sliding center section of my rear slider is broken on my 03. Bought the truck in April and didn’t notice it until I got it home. I have a new latch assembly but I’m wondering how to get the old one off the window.
14 Οκτ 2018 · My rear window was sticking / freezing up to where it'd barely even close. It'd open fine half way, then slow down - but to close, it'd practically just about be frozen. I got some Teflon dry lub and lubed up the track and the cable to get it fixed up.
27 Νοε 2010 · I suppose you were talking about the rear sliding window of the pick-up truck cab, and not the station wagon? My latches on the sliding windows of the SW are fixed with screws...
