10 Οκτ 2005 · 1999 to 2016 Super Duty - rear sliding window problem - It seems like my rear slider doesnt have anything to latch onto (to secure it shut) I'd have to force it really hard to get it to latch to the window frame. am I missing some sort of clip? its an 04 250 CC if that matters.

Tired of replacing that piece of junk plastic flap for a latch Ford put on your rear sliding window? Replace it with the ’95-’97 style latch. These are a much better design and will only take a few extra minutes versus replacing it with the same thing again.
31 Οκτ 2013 · i know this has has probably been covered a hundred times but my oem sliding rear window latch is missing. it was like this when i bought the truck. my question is, can you get the latch and some adhesive or is their a "base" that is glued on that the latch fastens onto?

5 Ιουν 2024 · Here are photos of the new latch. It is only the moving latch portion, not the catch bar. Looks like it will be compatible with the existing catch on the fixed portion. I edited my first message to say that it’s the latch portion on the center sliding section of glass, not the fixed side.
14 Φεβ 2020 · I have a 2018 Frontier. The rear sliding window latch popped off the glass while I was attempting to open it today (it is bitter cold here). In order to put it back in place: 1. Do I need to first dissolve whatever adhesive was holding it in place and is still on the window? If so, what kind of solvent would you recommend? 2.
