Overblot is a form taken by those who overuse their magic and let their negative emotions "blot" their magic wands. Their aura and appearance is mostly dark. Moreover, an entity appears alongside them, having a stitched-together body and head of glass leaking ink.

I would argue that a) this is represented through Idia's obsession with games to distract himself from his own loneliness and b) through the Idia/Ortho plot to flood the world with the Phantoms of Tartarus. So if Idia is Gluttony, then what sin is left for Malleus to represent? Lust :)

When you overblot, all the blot you can't hold spills out and takes on a giant form. You guys saw the faceless monsters that appeared behind you, right?.....
