Don't want your number to be searchable in the Truecaller app? Sure, you can unlist it, but taking control of your mobile identity is better! If you don’t like the name Truecaller shows for your number, you change that without removing your number from Truecaller, all in a few simple taps!
If at any time you wish to deactivate/delete your Truecaller account, you may simply select the ‘Deactivate’ option by going to Settings > Privacy Center menu within the Truecaller app. Once you deactivate your account, go to www.truecaller.com/unlisting/ and enter the number that you want to remove.
To deactivate your number: On Android: Tap on the profile icon > Settings > Privacy Center. On iPhone: Tap on the profile avatar (upper left) > Settings > Privacy Center. It can take up to 24 hours before your number gets removed due to caching processes. Numbers marked as spam cannot be unlisted.
