7 Αυγ 2018 · Start the VM from cold-boot (not from a paused or saved state) / Observe error / Shutdown the VM (force close it if you have to). With the VM completely shut down (not paused or saved), right-click on the VM in the VirtualBox Manager and select "Show Log".
What you need to check. On Windows 10 (host), go to Control Panel/Network and Internet/Network Connections, right click the physical device that you are trying to bridge to on your guest OS (VM) and make sure that "VirtualBox NDIS6 Bridged Networking Driver" and "Brdige Driver" are enabled.
Setup the virtualbox to use 2 adapters: The first adapter is set to NAT (that will give you the internet connection). The second adapter is set to host only. Start the virtual machine and assign a static IP for the second adapter in Ubuntu (for instance 192.168.56.56).
23 Ιουλ 2019 · Open VirtualBox, select one of the virtual machines, and click Settings. Click on the Network tab, and you should see your adapter is still set to Bridged (Figure A). Notice the Name setting....
I can get virtual box to create several sessions of different operating systems at the same time, but whenever i try to get 1 session to open up using more than 1 processor option select ( i wanted one of my session access to 2 processors ) i keep getting this error message. VT-x features locked or unavailable in MSR.
4 Αυγ 2021 · It is possible that changing your power management settings in BIOS, or Win/VB/Lin to not allow sleep states, or reduced C-states, might alleviate the problem. Unfortunately there are many C-states and this may not be the underlying cause, it would take time (you said weeks) to test.
14 Μαρ 2010 · If 1+3 or 1+2+3 don't work, try this: Make a Shared Folder on host machine and share the folder to the 2 virtualbox machines on virtualbox settings. Restart and voilá? I know the second option is a workaround.
