UCLA does not admit students into any undergraduate program who already hold Bachelor’s degrees, nor do we admit students who have the equivalent of three years (130 quarter-units or more) of transferable university work. You may not disregard your college record and apply as a first-year.

That said, no matter where you’re coming from, gaining admission to UCLA is not a walk in the park. UCLA is one of the most selective schools in the University of California system.

The median GPA of transfer applicants who are admitted to UCLA is a 3.9 (GPAs do vary by program), and most students who are admitted have completed most or all of the preparatory coursework for their majors. UCLA gives highest priority to students who are transferring from California community colleges or other University of California campuses.
