The way I've maintained my GPA (taking 4-6 courses each quarter) is to go into everything aiming to be the top of the class. GPA will naturally follow. I hope your summer is restful, and really don't sweat it!
The average GPA of students admitted to UCLA is quite competitive. For context, the middle 50% of admitted students at UCLA typically have a weighted GPA between 4.18 and 4.31.
It depends on your major. If you are a North campus major, then that GPA is pretty low. If you are a South campus major, then that GPA is solid other than for med schools.
The fully weighted GPA includes an extra grade point for all UC-approved honors courses (which include AP, IB, school-based honors and transferable college courses) in which a grade of C or higher is earned.

Here's a link to a post I did in which I calculated the average baccalaureate's gpa at graduation from UCLA in the 21-22 academic year. The average was a 3.65. Most people I know have GPA above like a 3.5. You may have to bust your ass for like a 3.9+ because even one A- lowers your GPA. Grade inflation is very high at this point.
