UC San Diego students are expected to have completed all prerequisites and met all restrictions, prior to enrolling in any biology course. Please review the school’s web page at http://biology.ucsd.edu/education/undergrad/course/prereq.html for the most current information.
To be considered for admission into a biology major, students must satisfy all criteria listed below. Complete all Selective Major Admission coursework, including transfer courses, with a “C-“ or higher, or with AP/IB/A-Level UC San Diego equivalent course credit. Earn a minimum 2.5 GPA in the Selective Major Admission courses.
