After receiving the account creation task on the Applicant Portal, students can activate their account using the Manage SSO Tool. The process below will confirm your identity, link your student personal ID (PID) to your new email account and allow you to activate the account by setting its password.
Look for an email invitation from UC San Diego containing Applicant Portal Login Instructions sent in mid-December to the email address you provided on your UC Application. You might need to look in your SPAM folder. The email will provide the Portal Link, Username and Pin to create your account.

Login to iPortal. Use your Single Sign-On (SSO) login information to log in to iportal.ucsd.edu. Click on the My Profile menu to view biographical, academic, contact and dependent information. You are required to verify information in the My Profile tab before submitting any iPortal requests.
To log in, click on the 'Applicant Portal' link located in the top right corner of the screen. Enter your login credentials. This includes your UC Application ID as well as your birthdate.
