The following general university policies apply to all undergraduate applicants at both the first-year and transfer-student level. To be eligible for consideration for admission, an applicant must meet certain requirements in terms of high school graduation, high school credits, and competence in English.

International Student Enrollment Requirements. International students in F-1 and J-1 status must maintain full-time enrollment during each required academic term, which at UIC are the fall and spring semesters.
Application FAQ. Admissions for MPA. The Department of Public Policy, Management, and Analytics requires an undergraduate grade point average of at least 2.75 (A= 4.00) for the final 60 semester (90 quarter) hours of baccalaureate study, including all of the work taken in the term in which the student began the final 60 semester hours of study.
