University Fellowships seek to recruit outstanding students newly admitted to terminal master’s (see list below) and PhD programs under the auspices of the Graduate College at the University of Illinois Chicago.
The Graduate College offers a number of fellowships and awards, totaling almost $2 million, to graduate students. We also administer or liaise with funding agencies for additional opportunities.
The goal of the Access to Excellence Fellowship at the University of Illinois at Chicago is to increase the number of students from historically underrepresented groups in graduate education who enter careers as researchers and college faculty.

Awardees of recruitment fellowships MUST inform the Graduate College of acceptance by April 15th. Department nomination deadline.
21 Φεβ 2024 · The University Fellowship simply seeks to recruit outstanding students regardless of background. The Pipeline to an Inclusive Faculty Program is for the crème de la crème of our future faculty. (Deadlines are circa February 1 for fellowships to start in August of the same year.)

The Hematology and Medical Oncology Fellowship at the University of Illinois in Chicago is an urban-based, three year, ACGME-accredited training program. Our program serves a highly diverse multi-ethnic and multicultural patient population that encompasses all socioeconomic strata.
