19 Ιαν 2016 · In this paper, we describe the historic trends in flooding in the UK by analysing a national dataset of over 125 years of reported flood events. This dataset is based on reporting systems that describe damaging terrestrial and tidal floods. National population and housing data are also considered to scale reported flooding by exposure.
The 2009 Great Britain and Ireland floods were a weather event that affected parts of Great Britain and Ireland throughout November and into December 2009.
