The twelve-month UNC Health Rex Nurse Residency program supports the transition from academia to practice for new graduate nurses. The wrap-around support from all levels of nursing is designed to assist new nurses in developing competence and confidence in the professional role.
Rex is a member of the UNC Health Care system, a non-profit integrated health care system, owned by the state of North Carolina and based in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. [3] Rex is located just 2 miles from the PNC Arena, and is the official healthcare provider of the Carolina Hurricanes [4] and NC State Wolfpack. [5]
