Please complete our Course Pre-Approval form. All requests are handled electronically, so there’s no need to visit individual academic departments. We’ll provide a preliminary credit evaluation within seven business days.
For example, a 5-quarter-hour course converted to semester hours is 3.33 semester hours. You should only submit a course approval request for the term in which you plan to take and complete the course. If you complete the course outside of the approved time frame, you may not receive credit.
Undergraduate students submit an eForm request in their ConnectCarolina Student Center to have a transfer course re-evaluated for credit. The request is routed to the Office of Undergraduate Curricula (OUC) for initial review.

You can request transfer credit for university-level course work completed outside The University of Tulsa. Once approved, transfer credit can count towards overall University graduation requirements and, if approved by your major department, towards major and minor requirements.
