8 Οκτ 2024 · After claiming a week of benefits (a week runs Sunday through Saturday), you can check the status of your weekly claim. Weekly claims made on a Saturday or Sunday will usually update Monday night and will have an updated status on Tuesday.

In Oregon, a customer is unemployed any week they work fewer than 40 hours and earn less than their weekly benefit amount (the maximum amount of UI benefits they are eligible to receive on a weekly basis for partial wage replacement).
If you lose your job through no fault of your own or quit for a qualifying reason, you can get weekly unemployment benefits until you find another job (or use up all your benefits). Your benefits will be directly deposited into your bank account or onto a benefits debit card.
For each week you want to claim benefits, you must certify that you meet the eligibility requirements. You do this by answering questions about your eligibility for that entire week.
