This 1967 Ford Mustang fastback was modified by Unique Performance of Farmers Branch, Texas in 2005 under license from Carroll Shelby Licensing, Inc. to a specification known as GT500E Super Snake, and it was refurbished in 2008–2009 by Revved Automotive Concepts of Rhome, Texas.

Back in 2001, Shelby authorized Dallas' Unique Performance to build 400 Base and Performance GT500Es and 75 GT500E Super Snakes. Unfortunately, Unique Performance experienced major financial strain, and only 43 Super Snakes made it out of the hole.
The heart of the Super Snake was to be a lightweight, heavily modified version of the aforementioned GT40-class 427 cubic-inch V8, including the prior engine’s signature “Bundle of Snakes” exhaust.
