31 Ιαν 2020 · The program applies to airfreight shipments leaving the U.S. It allows certain “known shippers” to transport cargo on passenger aircraft (“belly freight”) in addition to cargo aircraft. If you are not in the TSA Known Shipper database, you must use cargo-only planes.
Shipper and Consignee information is not required to make a booking, however it is required to save an air waybill using this website. Through the program, the TSA reviews and approves known shipper status for qualified shippers in the United States, allowing them additional air cargo shipping privileges once they qualify.
