If you do not want to reside in the university student residences, you can choose to find your own apartment or share a flat with your friends or other HKU students. Information on vacant flats and rooms can be found in local newspapers, real estate agencies or from the website of CEDARS.
Website: www.hku.hk/uhall Situated adjacent to Pokfulam Reservoir, right at the entrance of Pokfulam Country Park, University Hall has a quiet and peaceful country neighbourhood, and a gorgeous view of the sea on the southern side of Hong Kong Island.
The beautiful and decorative cast iron spiral staircase at the corner of the chapel connects the three floors and facilitates speedy commute. The chapel (Dining Hall) has a tied timber beam roof. The pitched construction was supported by bow timber trusses resting on symmetrically placed vaulting shafts. The roof was covered with Chinese tiling.
