24 Ιουν 2024 · HONOLULU — The long-awaited replacement turf field for Les Murakami Stadium is slated to arrive in time for the 2025 University of Hawaii baseball season — but it will be close. UH recently provided Spectrum News with an update on an increasingly needed project that has been put off over the years.
Hans L'Orange Field is a stadium in Waipahu, Hawai'i. It is primarily used for baseball, and is the home field of Hawaii Pacific University's men's baseball team, the Sharks, since 2016. [1] [2] It was the home field of the Hawaii Winter Baseball teams North Shore Honu and West Oahu CaneFires before the league folded. It holds 2,200 people.
Les Murakami Stadium is named after the legendary Hawai'i baseball skipper Les Murakami. It is widely regarded as one of the finest collegiate ballparks in the nation and holds 4,312 engaged fans.
Les Murakami Stadium is the baseball stadium at the University of Hawaii at Manoa in Honolulu CDP, [1] City and County of Honolulu, Hawaii, United States. The stadium was built in 1984 and renamed after legendary Rainbow coach Les Murakami for the 2002 season.
8 Δεκ 2023 · The Big West announced this week that Cal State Fullerton, a traditional power in baseball and softball, will host the inaugural Big West tournaments in those sports in 2025. UH will have to wait until at least 2028 to host a championship at Les Murakami Stadium or Rainbow Wahine Softball Stadium.
