  5. Submission Guidelines. Submitted manuscripts should be PDF files prepared for anonymous review, containing no identifying information. Submissions need not conform to the journal style unless and until accepted for publication. There is no word limit, but submissions on the lengthier side should have correspondingly more news value.

  6. Submissions should follow Chicago Manual of Style guidelines. All bibliographic information should be in endnotes, with full citation information for each source given in the first note mentioning that source (see Sample Citations). Submissions should not contain bibliographies or reference lists.

  7. Ergo is an open access philosophy journal accepting submissions on all philosophical topics and from all philosophical traditions. This includes, among other things: history of philosophy, work in both the analytic and continental traditions, as well as formal and empirically informed philosophy.
