The Ackland Art Museum is located at 101 S. Columbia Street, near the corner of West Franklin and South Columbia streets in downtown Chapel Hill. On Columbia Street, we are between Top of the Hill and the Carolina Inn, and a short walk from each.
The Ackland Art Museum is a museum and academic unit of The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. It was founded through the bequest of William Hayes Ackland (1855–1940) to The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. [3]
Prints, Drawings, and Photographs. Admission is free! The Ackland has reopened to the public. We are open Wednesday through Saturday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and 1-5 p.m. on Sunday. Not able to visit in person?
