Student Help Resources. Canvas, by Instructure, is UNM’s new Learning Management System starting Summer 2022. It will replace UNM Learn. We have gathered some resources below for students to get familiar with Canvas. If you ever have a question, please feel free to reach out to UNM Canvas Support.
We recently have contracted with Instructure, the vendor for Canvas, to pilot their Tier 1 support services. They offer 24/7 support via the Canvas Hotline, Chat with an agent, and the Report a Problem support options listed below. Canvas Tier 1 Support will escalate UNM-specific and complex issues to the UNM Canvas Support Team as needed.

Log in to canvas.unm.edu using your UNM NetID and Password. On the left navigation menu, select “ Help ” and a new menu will expand. Select " Training Services Portal ".
Comprehensive support documentation for Canvas is accessible on UNM's Canvas Support site. Students can access answers to Canvas FAQ's by searching for "Canvas LMS" at STUDENTINFO. Faculty can access answers to Canvas FAQ's by searching for "Canvas LMS" at FASTINFO.
To get started, log into https://canvas.unm.edu. If you are already logged in to UNM systems via Azure AD (LoboMail, UNM Learn, UNM Zoom, Office 365, etc.) you will automatically be logged into Canvas. From the Global Navigation along the left, click Help > Training Services Portal. Click Authorize.
