31 Αυγ 2021 · We are happy to help with the issue you are having with being asked for your password to automatically update your apps even though you have your Automatic Updates option turned on in settings. 2 Μαρ 2019 · You can do this by Settings > iTunes & App Stores and changing your Apple ID there to your dad's Apple ID, but still logging into your own for iCloud.
30 Αυγ 2021 · Solution: Enable the following settings for Auto updates of Apps in App Store. Settings > Touch ID & Passcode > Enable Use Touch ID FOR > iTunes & App Store. I tried all the other solutions in the apple community and only the above one worked like a magic :) Hope this one will help you all.
14 Απρ 2017 · I definitely want to make sure that you can update apps without a password if that's how you'd like it set up. I have a couple things for you to try. First, sign out of the iTunes & App Store in Settings, then sign back in and test to see if you get the same password prompt.
