The last two shipments have been set up with requested pick ups. Both time they have failed to show up. The second they sat my pick up was cancelled but can't tell me who cancelled it. Pickup on specific days, based on your needs. You can pre-select 1–4 business days each week. If you add Saturday pickups, you can also request Saturday delivery of your inbound shipments. Schedule a one-time pickup, using any UPS shipping service, with UPS On-Call Pickup.
Request an "on demand pickup" if there's an option. If not then call and request it. I know of multiple routes that now have "scheduled pickups" because of that very reason. On demand pickups (ODP) are high priority and are sent to drivers directly while on route and we're prompted to enter an ETA.
IF you set up the pickup request properly, it should show the driver the total weight of the packages (in your case, 600lbs). If the driver is paying attention, they'll try to plan their day accordingly.
