When Ichigo fights Jin Kariya, their battle is interrupted when Ururu fires her cannon at Kariya's mansion. While Jinta directs her where to aim with the help of his binoculars, Ururu continues to fire, causing a diversion that allows Ichigo and the others to escape.
He instructs Ichigo to fight Ururu, who presents him with protective head gear and gloves. When Ichigo initially refuses to fight her, she tells him to make sure he puts on the protective gear before fighting, or he will die. Ururu attacks Ichigo, who disappears in a cloud of dust.

Ururu TSUMUGIYA. Ururu is a young girl who works at the Urahara Shop, though she often ends up with more work to do when Jinta dumps his workload on her. Though she is quiet and seems to be very shy and fragile, Ururu is actually incredibly strong and helps out with Ichigo ’s training.

Her skill set alone rivals some of the best in the series, and her strength at her age is unparalleled. The easiest answer is that she is an Artificial Human, just like Jinta Hanakari, created by Urahara.

Jinta and Ururu are capable of a degree of growth, but Nemu is essentially just a normal person and as such is a much more impressive creation. They’re Urahara’s attempt at Nemu, in TYBW it’s revealed that Mayuri holds Nemu as one of the few things he did better than Kisuke.
