8 Φεβ 2021 · did Urusei Yatsura 1981 with 195 episodes adapted everything from the source/manga? Of course not. There are still OVAs and movie 5 as the ending after the original tv series.
Ataru explains about how Lum was kidnapped, and after the obligatory hostile reaction from Mendo, Oyuki interjects that she may know who the strange man in black is - none of Class 2-4 were actually told Rupa's name when he invaded their classroom yesterday.
The final arc of Urusei Yatsura, "Boy Meets Girl" is 11 chapters long. And some of the chapters preceding it could be considered build-up for the last arc, for example, the Inaba the Dreammaker stories. The former was adapted into the 5th movie and the latter was the 3rd OVA in the original series. They weren't adapted into the TV series.
