Introduction . Following are the general policies and procedures regarding the submission process for manufacturers wishing to submit golf balls to the USGA for conformance evaluation, including the updated conformance testing submission deadlines.
Golf Ball Testing. A golf ball manufacturer submits two dozen balls of each model to the USGA for conformance testing. The technical staff conducts the testing of more than 20,000 golf balls per year for conformance using a combination of simple measurements and state-of-the-art testing devices.

A List of all of the golf balls that have been submitted for evaluation within the last 12 months, and ruled to conform to the Rules of Golf.
Golf balls are tested according to three established launch conditions: clubhead speed (120 mph), launch angle (10 degrees) and spin (2520 rpm). They are intended to represent the swings of golf’s longest hitters.
