Concerning OC, there are merely 100 cell lines described in the literature, and many of them are largely used to investigate the characteristics of this complex and multifaceted cancer. A selection method of gradually increasing drug doses was implemented to avoid clonal selection. Resistance was confirmed using a clonogenic assay.
