15 Αυγ 2024 · The VA can assign ratings of 0, 30, 50, and 100 percent in cases of sleep apnea, as follows: 0 percent: This rating recognizes that you have a documented sleep disorder but currently do not suffer from sleep apnea symptoms. You will not receive any compensation for your sleep apnea with this rating.
Monitoring Your Sleep: Home Sleep Apnea Study. A home sleep apnea study tracks and records body functions while you’re asleep in your own bed. The results of the study will help diagnose sleep apnea and plan your treatment. Not every person is a candidate for home sleep apnea studies.
13 Οκτ 2024 · Under the VA Ratings Schedule, a veteran with sleep apnea may be entitled to 0%, 30%, 50% or 100% benefits for sleep apnea, as follows: 0% Rating: Diagnosis without significant symptoms or required treatment. 30% Rating: Daytime sleepiness impacting daily activities.
25 Μαΐ 2022 · If a veteran is rated at a combined overall rating of 50% or higher, then the VA covers the total cost of the sleep study if it is ordered by a VA doctor. However, if a veteran is rated overall less than 50%, the veteran may have to pay a copay.
