V5 Dice is a minimalist die rolling app designed for Vampire the Masquerade 5th edition. The app is built with JavaScript, and generates arrays of random numbers from 1 to 10 on each roll. Additionally, the rouse check button quickly rolls a single 10 sided die.
I built a dice roller for Vampire 5th edition. Set the pool (Attribute + Skill) dice count, the character’s current hunger, and optionally, the number of successes required, and hit Roll. The individual die rolls will be returned and the outcome will be calculated.
I never managed to get how these V5 dice work. Mostly because I have been playing on Discord with a Hunger dice roller and it rolls automatically. So, if I get it right, in relation to regular d10, we have: 1 skull side - number 1 (botch) 4 blank sides - numbers 2,3,4,5 (no success) 4 ankh sides - numbers 6,7,8,9 (success)
V5 Dice is a quick, easy and beautiful dice roller for Vampire: The Masquerade 5th Edition. Best v5 dice roller at the moment. The design is also pretty cool and dark , fiting perfectly the vampire atmosphere.
tiltowaitt. • 2 yr. ago • Edited 2 yr. ago. Good start! In addition to the suggestions given, I think you should make it so that submitting doesn’t take you to a new page. Instead of number inputs, you could use buttons (styled radio buttons, probably) to represent hunger and dice pool, so it’s quicker and easier to select.
The app can roll a pool of 1 to 20 dice, including 0-5 possible hunger dice as part of that. If you know the difficulty, it will tell you the result, as well as the individual values rolled, and will let you choose and reroll up to 3 normal dice, in the case that you spend a willpower to do so.
