I've slowly been going through the show since October of 2021. It was quite a ride--though I didn't watch every episode, it was interesting to see how it gradually improved through the early seasons, and then all kind of fell apart in the last couple.
Season 2 premiere. The titles were pillarboxed but the show was not while the scenes did not look distorted. That can only be if the show had been re-cropped. The question comes about with it having been a bit since I'd watched any episode and when last I had done so it was in the pre-big-screen-TV era.

I haven't seen much of the show, but one of the movies I like is Endgame, which has Duncan from the show. So, does Highlander hold up? I'm also open to watching highlights, if there are are generally agreed bad episodes, or only watching the good ones.
Highlander: The Watcher (2016) and Highlander:Dark Places (2015) are also officially authorized as part of the franchise. Well, the first thing I always wanted to do was have the first episode of the tv series show a recut montage of scenes from the first film.
Is the Highlander show worth watching? It hasn't aged well... its pretty rough around the edges now, but yeah its got some great episodes. I think the show survived almost entirely because of how cool the basic premise was. Still worth watching. Never watch Highlander: The Source. Just, don't. leaving Reddit due to rampant censorship.
