3 Δεκ 2021 · Then make sure that you have no previous version of VCV 2 anywhere left (program files/VCV). After that right click the freshly downloaded .exe and go to settings. There is a checkbox at the bottom, that you trust the downloaded exe.
1 Δεκ 2021 · I removed all VCVrack versions from my computer with C:\Users\xxx\Documents\Rack folder and reinstalled vcvrack2 free (2.0.4) and got the same result. I didn’t see any settings.json file.

1 Δεκ 2021 · It is finally there! There is a commercial version now which’s distinctive feature over the free version is that it works as a VST plugin inside various DAWs. But there are many other convenient changes that are also available in the free open source version again.
To make sure Rack can run on your computer, see Rack 2 System Requirements. Installing Rack ¶ Download Rack on the VCV Rack product page. Installing on Mac ¶ Double-click on the installer and follow the on-screen steps. Launch VCV Rack from the Applications folder. Installing on Windows ¶ Run the installer and follow the on-screen steps.
