Download Rack on the VCV Rack product page. Installing on Mac ¶. Double-click on the installer and follow the on-screen steps. Launch VCV Rack from the Applications folder. Installing on Windows ¶. Run the installer and follow the on-screen steps. In the Rack Pro installer, you may set a custom VST path during the installation process.
Some devs, like NYSTHI and Alright Devices (Chronoblob2) still have their plugins in beta and haven't made it into the VCV Rack library yet for Rack 2. But there are many in the library already. Rack 2 installs separately to Rack 1, so you can have both installed.

I am able to run VCVRACK pro 2.2 on m1MAX mac studio, monterey, standalone and in Logic Pro 10.7.4 under rosetta where i loaded as input and as midi FX.
