The 1996 M12 was the first car produced by Vector's new Indonesian owners Megatech. Based on the Lamborghini Diablo (also owned by Megatech), and featuring it's 500 hp V12, the M12 was good for 0-60mph in 4.8 sec and a 190mph top speed.

Powered by a 5.7-liter Lamborghini V12 engine with dual overhead camshafts, four valves per cylinder, and electronic multiport fuel injection, the M12 produced 492 horsepower, matching the Diablo. 13 Αυγ 2019 · After contribution from engineers at Vector and MegaTech’s other brand, Lamborghini, the new M12 ditched American power in favor of the 5.7-liter V12 from the Diablo. Said engine was mounted in front of the manual transmission, which was the opposite of the Diablo.
