20 Ιουν 2023 · Hazardous Materials Permit Process. California Fire Code (Sections 105.1.1 and 105.1.2) requires all buildings, devices, receptacles, and/or spaces utilized in the storage, transfer and application of hazardous materials receive prior authorization from the Fire Prevention Division.
The City of Ventura Fire Department is a Participating Agency (PA) that implements the Hazardous Materials Business Plan, Aboveground Petroleum Storage, CalARP, and Underground Storage Tank programs within their City’s jurisdiction.
The Ventura County Certified Unified Program Agency - CUPA / Hazardous Materials Program provides regulatory oversight for the following six statewide environmental programs: Hazardous Waste; Hazardous Materials Business Plan; California Accidental Release Prevention Program (CalARP) Underground Hazardous Materials Storage Tanks
