There's a Google docs add-on called debate template or something like that. I've tested it and it works pretty well. Only issue is that you can't have documents that are too big (>100 pages) simply because Google docs lags like crazy at that point. Thanks a ton dude!
I want to have an easily navigatable debate doc that all my team members can edit on. Is there a way to do this with google docs?
Verbatim does seem to be the gold standard, but for teams who might be limited to chromebooks for example, I'd like to crowdsource some feedback on the best workarounds. The few I've seen are: CardCutter

Debate Template is a Google Docs extension for paperless debate. It imitates some of the features from Verbatim, which only works with a full version of Microsoft Word that supports VBA macros. Debate Template can be a useful option if you don’t have access to a version of Microsoft Word compatible with Verbatim.
