28 Φεβ 2024 · Incoming: imap.aol.com; SSL/TLS; port 993. Outgoing: smtp.verizon.net; SSL/TLS; port 465. The client could not login and import my messages. The setup tool wants to push me to yahoo.com for some reason. Please advise how I can make the switch to the new Outlook.
17 Δεκ 2021 · The Incoming mail server is still listed as pop.mail.yahoo.com and the Outgoing mail server is listed as smtp.mail.yahoo.com. Nevertheless, the Incoming and Outgoing Mail Server information under Send/Receive Groups>Edit>Account Properties is the correct verizon.net information.
The screen clips below show the Outlook pop/smtp settings I use since the verizon email is also a yahoo email. Using these settings work for sending and receiving. I've been using these settings for a couple of verizon email accounts for quite awhile now without any problems.
