The Vernal Utah Temple is the fifty-first temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church). The temple is located in Vernal and was the church's tenth temple built in Utah. When it was dedicated on November 2, 1997, the Vernal Temple was unique for being the church's only temple built from a previously existing structure.

13 Φεβ 1994 · The Vernal Utah Temple was the first house of the Lord built from an existing tabernacle. It was the only temple built from an existing tabernacle until around 18 years later, when the Provo City Center Temple — in Provo, Utah — was dedicated in 2016.
