Modern tools can decrypt every disk and generate the correct ird, guaranteeing every ird in the PlayStation 3 Vault is accurate. The Vimm's Lair.txt file included with all media has been updated to include preservation metadata.

I use LME 6.61 for firmware on my PSP. PSP's compatibility with variants on MP4/AVC/AAC video files has improved across its many firmware versions, and custom firmware is reported to "unlock" more capabilities, so I doubt a video encoded with the settings described here would work with, say, 1.50.
All BIOS files have been verified in agreement with System.dat (Ver.2023.05.07) from Libretro-database. Copy all files from BIOS folder into your RetroPie's BIOS folder and enjoy your games! 😉. You may install NodeJS and double check them by running: Full BIOS collection for RetroPie.
The PSP has a native PSX emulator in it to play most games. It is possible to dump the Bios from the PSP and use it in PSX emulators on other platforms such as the computer or phone emulators. An alternative method has been posted to retrieve the BIOS here. Thanks to /u/jackmax9999.
