Grants must be submitted electronically (see How To Apply below). Any unused portion of the grant funds must be returned to the AHS upon completion of the project. The AHS is proud to have a grants program that supports our members through new music commissions, educational initiatives, chapter programming, or other endeavors that benefit our community of harpists!
Proposals are considered in three annual grant cycles: February 1, May 1, and October 1. The application should include: Draft proposals are strongly encouraged.
AHS Grant Program Applications Open The AHS Grants Program is now accepting applications from individual members and Chapters for projects advancing AHS's mission. Learn more and apply online before the October 15 deadline.
Applicants can request a fixed grant amount for $4,000, $8,000, $14,000, or $20,000. Cost share/matching funds are not required. Please choose the amount that makes the most sense for your organization's capacity and budget. Applications will be reviewed and considered for recommendation at the requested amount only.
Visit “Who is eligible to apply?” in the FAQ page for a complete list. Applicants may not apply to an opportunity (Rapid or Regular), if they were awarded a grant in the cycle immediately prior to the current cycle. Applicants may not have two grants open at the same time.
