18 Αυγ 2015 · Since upgrading to windows 10 audio through hdmi is not functioning. The playback tab shows the realtek digital output as not connected. Please advise on how to rectify the matter or haw to downgrade back to 8.1.
You can try reinstalling graphics and audio drivers to fix the HDMI audio not working issue. To reinstall the graphics driver, open Device Manager and expand Display adapters. You can then right-click on the graphics driver and click on Uninstall device.
If the above steps does not work then you might have to reinstall the audio drivers. 1. Click Start. 2. Type devmgmt.msc in the search box and press enter. 3. Expand Sound, video, and game controllers and right click on the driver and uninstall it. 4. Download and install the latest drivers from the manufacturer’s website. Hope this helps.
