Last week, we looked at how Vista’s Network and Sharing Center (NSC) puts network connection information and configuration options within easy reach. Although the network sharing underpinnings of Vista are similar to XP, the Network and Sharing Center makes configuration in Vista more convenient.
What is better for P2P sharing in Vista network. I have the option for Private or Public. Is one better than the other. Right now I have it as Public.

When you initially set-up Vista Networking options you’re required to specify the type of network you are connecting to a Home, Work or Public network. If you connect to a Public network then Vista will default disable sharing, including Public folder sharing.
27 Φεβ 2010 · Vista does not support DLNA service for streaming Videos. I suggest that you look for the tools that could help you use the DLNA service. You may search for the tools using your favorite search engine. You may be able to find the DLNA tools that would help you use the service.
6 Φεβ 2016 · From the Network and Sharing Center, you can survey all your machines connections and their settings. Two extra features you will see a lot of in Vista are, ‘Personalize’ instead of ‘Properties’, and Diagnostics Tool instead of the troubleshooting Wizard.
With Windows Vista, set up user accounts for other users on your network, use the Network and Sharing Center to require passwords for access to shared resources, and specify what level of access different users can have to a particular shared resource.
