Overall I'd recommend Viva Macau to anyone looking for a well priced travel option who is travelling to either Macau, Hong Kong or Southern China. Macau is a cracker of a joint which anyone travelling to Hong Kong should visit.
we have an advertising campaign here in australia at the moment offering amazing priced airfares from sydney to macau by viva macau airlines. Can someone tell me of their reliablility and how good their name is.
Does anyone have any info of Viva Macau Airlines? I know they have some cheap flights but has anyone traveled with them. They seem to have been in operation since 2004 and are just starting to fly out of Sydney....

Viva Macau is certainly a budget airline, but after 10 hours on a plane I think my backside was just as numb as if I'd paid 3x for the privilege of travelling QANTAS. Worst part was the grotty toilets, complete with duct tape holding things together.

In terms of low fares, you could always try to fly to Japan from HKG-- the Taiwanese carriers (EVA Air, China Airlines) especially have good fares to Japan (via Taipei), plus meals and all the other extras are included.
