There is a critical bug in the latest Windows 11 update (KB5012643) that has affected some important Windows system files. As a result the following vMix features have been affected: Stream Deck communication. Being able to host a vMix Call. Logging in or setting up some live streams.
28 Απρ 2022 · There is a critical bug in the latest Windows 11 update that has affected some important Windows system files. As a result it has caused some issues with some hardware drivers (such as the Stream Deck). It has also affected the ability to properly host vMix Call. So to fix, please roll back your Windows Update to the previous version.
Is anyone successfully using Windows 11 with vMix? I want to upgrade at some point but am hesitant as I use vMix on a daily. I haven't seen anything official from vMix saying it is supported as of yet.
18 Αυγ 2023 · On some Windows 11 computers, most-often laptops, there are automatic audio enhancements and filters that can negatively affect audio quality. Symptoms can include audio clipping of voices, dropouts, a tinny or echoing soundstage, voices coming through but not instruments, among others.
25 Μαΐ 2020 · vMix Call requires the latest Google Chrome on Windows, Mac and Android devices. Only Safari (Version 13 or higher) will work on iOS devices, Chrome is not supported. If these requirements are not followed, the caller will see a blue screen and the call will not connect.
30 Απρ 2022 · Try vMix 25 since that is the newest supported product. Full uninstall reinstall and see if issue continues. Edit - that issue means the file is not where it thought it was so the file may have been moved or deleted. Try putting it back in after vMix 25 install.
16 Ιουν 2023 · I can receive SRT on the OTHER vMix system within the network. Port settings are all correct. I just tested setting up a Caller inside the problem machine and sending to the Listener Port on Localhost and it works within the machine.
